New Pork Products Added Under Prairie Grove Farms® Label

DEKALB, Ill. – Three new products under the Prairie Grove Farms® brand have been introduced to meet growing demand from consumers. Retail and foodservice customers now can order fully cooked Natural Pork Loin Back Ribs, Natural St. Louis Style Pork Ribs and Uncured Hickory Smoked Bacon. Each new product contains no artificial ingredients and is minimally processed. These natural products contain no antibiotics, preservatives, growth stimulants, MSG or added nitrites/nitrates, except for those that naturally occur in celery juice.
“The development of these new Prairie Grove Farms products continues with our effort to provide consumers a great-tasting natural pork product,” said Pat Watkins, vice president of sales and marketing for Prairie Grove Farms, LLC. “We have received great comments on our other products, but consumers wanted more options like convenience items and processed natural pork products.”
Both cuts of the fully cooked natural pork ribs are packaged in a sauce for added convenience. They can be heated and served in minutes. The Uncured Hickory Smoked Bacon meets the growing demand for processed natural pork.“Consumers have less time but still desire the taste of a carefully prepared wholesome meal,” Watkins added. “Now, with Prairie Grove Farms’ extended product line, we can better meet that need.”
