MINNEAPOLIS – Cargill is supporting scholarships for ten college students to attend the Agriculture Futures of America 2003 Leaders Conference. Through an application process, AFA will select 10 students from around the country to attend this year's conference in Kansas City on November 6-9, 2003. The four-day event offers students personal and professional skill-building as they explore careers in agriculture and agribusiness. Nationally prominent leaders in agriculture production, business, associations and government participate as program leaders and presenters. A Career Fair is also a part of the conference program. Students interested in applying should contact Nancy Yates at AFA nancy.yates@umb.com or 1-888-472-4232 by September 29, 2003.

"We are very pleased to present this career and leadership opportunity to college students from communities where we do business, " said Dan Dye, president of Cargill AgHorizons.
