Excel And Taylor Join Together To Support Community Projects

WYALUSING, PENN., FEB. 25, 2002 - Excel Corporation and Taylor Companies pledged their support to Wyalusing by making two significant contributions to the community.
Excel today completed its acquisition of Taylor Packing Co. Inc., Taylor By-Products, Inc. and related companies.
The two companies pledged $100,000 to the Lower Wyalusing Creek Stabilization Project and $20,000 to the Wyalusing Little League Association. In addition, $2,500 will be donated to the Wyalusing High School science department for water education as part of Excel's Water Matters program.
Funds for the Lower Wyalusing Creek Stabilization Project will be used to help restore parts of the Wyalusing Creek Watershed and build a nature park surrounding the creek. The gift to the Wyalusing Little League Association will help build five new ball fields.
